#45: Last Month Of East Coast Living.
I’m getting my fill of all things East Coast before I move west to San Francisco next month. New England coffee fix from Dunkin Donuts and Tim Hortons. Convenience store stops at WaWa. A couple last minute day trips Ito New York City, the Baltimore Aquarium and my old college town of Richmond, VA. A couple necessary pit stops at the house I grew up in, in Fairfax, VA. A goodbye wave to my backyard of Washington, DC. And… a last…
#43: Run Around The Lincoln Memorial.
One of my favorite running trails of all time, the grassy, gravel and asphalt-filled trail around Washington, DC. Running from the Arlington, VA side across the Arlington Memorial Bridge to the Lincoln Memorial.
#42: After Hours At Kramerbooks Afterwords Cafe.
Late night or early morning, this restaurant-meets-bookstore Kramerbooks Cafe is one of my favorite small businesses in the entire USA. Whether you go early –– finding a cozy spot while sipping on caramel iced coffee and reading foodie books –– or go late –– noshing on chocolate coconut sundaes and devouring celebrity biographies while closing the place down –– every experience is wildly flavorful, culturally enriching and filling. #shopsmall
#41: Visit The Donut Heaven… On Earth.
Northside Social, an old restored painted red farmhouse-turned quaint coffee shop from the early 1900s located in Arlington, VA. Where –– if you’re lucky enough to find parking AND a seat at the Italian-style tables –– you can nosh on a heavenly donut. Hmmm… just like Homer.
