The Industry: Education

The Rub: Even the greatest universities face challenges right on their own campus. Most students don’t usually know or care what the Office of Academic Affairs is. Yet it’s actually the driving force behind faculty and staff employment. In fact, those faculty and staff teach, train, mentor and coach students from enrollment to graduation. 

The Mindset: Is that like a stuffy old teachers union that sits in the library all day and prints out my transcripts at the end of the semester? 

The Urgency: The graduation, attendance, and  matriculation rate at universities across the USA – including Sonoma state – are gradually declining due to a variety of factors. Students are also attending college without having a proper mentor relationship set up for them to succeed. There’s no better time than now to embed the office into everyday life on campus, offer support and become invaluable to student experience. 

The KPIs: Audience awareness & engagement. Foot traffic. Mentoring rates. Graduation rates.
