#37: Audition For Glee, Or Something Like It.
Of that 4-Item bucket list I was going to accomplish this year, first thing to check off: Singing. After searching local singing groups, I found everything from church choirs to acapella groups to holiday get-togethers to jazz ensembles to opera renditions to show choirs. Little did I know, I’d end up auditioning for a Glee-like Show Chorus called The Alexandria Singers.

I found the secret to keeping new year’s resolutions. Starting them on your birthday. Lucky for me, my birthday is January 21st –– not exactly on the January 1st date when there’s a flurry of overambitious resolutions made, but not too long after to get unmotivated and fall off the bandwagon completely. #34: Vote In A Presidential Election.
It’s the 2012 Presidential Election and Obama is running for the head honcho spot. I’m ecstatic at what the country could look like after this. But as far as voting goes, I have a conundrum. With all my moving, I’m in voting limbo state. My voter registration card is still active in Richmond, VA from when I lived there last month, but I’m living with the ‘rents in Fairfax, VA right now…. roadtrip, anyone? Let’s do this and get ‘er…
