#57: Run Coyote Point, Edge To Edge.
Greetings from paradise! A runner’s paradise, that is. Sweaty, panting with staggered breaths, rain-soaked, completely butt-covered with pricklies from leaning up against a eucalyptus tree, I’m now wondering what the hell I got myself into this morning. I was craving a run at Coyote Point, a 620-acre national park and protected shoreline jutting into the Bay, south of the airport between Burlingame and San Mateo – an undiscovered haven for runners and early birds alike. #43: Run Around The Lincoln Memorial.
One of my favorite running trails of all time, the grassy, gravel and asphalt-filled trail around Washington, DC. Running from the Arlington, VA side across the Arlington Memorial Bridge to the Lincoln Memorial.

Curious and unsuspecting to meet such an adventurer, I came face to face with one a couple weekends ago: Andrew Eaton, my roommate’s old friend from Charlottesville, VA. Though our…
#16: Run A Half-Marathon In 40˙F.

Everything –– the weather, the course, the prep, the sustenance, the running buddy, the end goal –– makes a difference between ending happy and ending miserable. This was my 1st half-marathon. Ever. Luckily for me, the course was a pretty, flat 13.2 miles through downtown, scenic, park-centric Richmond, VA. Unlucky for me, it was a 40˙ morning that felt like 20˙. My exposed hands were freezing and…
