#42: After Hours At Kramerbooks Afterwords Cafe.
Late night or early morning, this restaurant-meets-bookstore Kramerbooks Cafe is one of my favorite small businesses in the entire USA. Whether you go early –– finding a cozy spot while sipping on caramel iced coffee and reading foodie books –– or go late –– noshing on chocolate coconut sundaes and devouring celebrity biographies while closing the place down –– every experience is wildly flavorful, culturally enriching and filling. #shopsmall

#27: Spend July 4th On The Water.

That feeling when you score concert tickets to a long-time favorite band, Foster The People, and of course, the only standing room available is 5 rows back. Headliner: The Kooks Main Show: Foster The People Venue: Nissan Pavilion, Northern Virginia
