Friend, Dennis and I were just looking for a simple, local San Diego bar with a couple board games and a lively atmosphere to tide us over until the weekend fun started. It was a chilly Monday evening and not much was open. But then we found Tabletop Commons. Turns out, it was THE board game bar. With at least 72 titles on the shelf. A DJ. A game host. A game ref. A jumbo-movie screen. And oh, a full geek squad in tow.
