The food truck phenomenon has taken the country by storm, and apparently the South San Francisco Bay Area too. Today, I caught a glimpse of the food truck revolution in action. I saw local chefs doing what they do best in a fraction of their usual kitchen space. I saw a tight knit community of bartering and camaraderie with no real money being exchanged. And I saw a culture emerging of patrons treating each other, their chefs and their food differently than they would at any restaurants.
